wnaplay1647545503
I am going to reconfigure my laptop and wanted to know what all is involved with doing such an endeavor. I will take it back to the factory settings which I believe will only leave me with microsoft xp as my operating software. What will I need to do to ensure everything works again ie.. hooks to internet(wirelessly), dvd player works.... There is nothing on the laptop right now except for a bunch of junk the previous owner put on it and I just want to start over fresh. Kinda ignorant about computer shit so keep it simple. Thanks
jeffro
youll need to set up the tcp/ip settings again depending on whether or not you have a secured network at your home. as for all the other components of the computer they should all work because the drivers are already built into the restore utility. jeffro
doesnt work at all or is it requiring certain codecs to play? you may need to download and install drivers from the manufacturers website. as for the wireless connection, you will probably need to reconfigure the laptop for the network. usually theres a switch on the side of the laptop to enable wireless. if not you will want to right click on the wireless controller and enable it
wnaplay1647545503
This is weird. I reset it and nothing worked. No programs would show up or nothing. I do it again and everything came back and now works.
