Guest Removed Posted April 20, 2009 Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 keep having the same issue. time and time again with the main house pc. wont connect to the internet. evo rob just did a fresh windows xp install and this thing keeps doing this. havent tryed ip config yet, cause i done forgot how to do it. but normally that dont help,. it even says its connected to the internet, but i keep egtting the damn error message. anyone have a idea of wtf is going on here? If so, it's the newest service pack that has compatability issues with your NIC card. You have to manually install previous drivers for the NIC card before it works properly. I had to deal with this on my mom's PC. It's a new PC and a new NIC card, but it just randomly started acting up.. low and behold the PC did an automatic update and would own itself.
