Chad Bittle
Heard of this site from a couple different people and thought I'd check it out. Long story short, was deployed to Iraq from end of 2004 to beginning of 2006. Been in and out of jobs since and finally have one I like so I can save some damn money. In the process of building a 1995 Dodge Avenger, gonna be a Street/Strip ride. Taking the 440 out of my dad's '72 Challenger and putting it in the Avenger. spankis
Interesting combo you're planning indeed. For those wondering, from the tubing visible in the pictures, I'd say he is most def planning a front clip fab/rwd conversion. Oddly there was a guy on the 3000gt/Stealth forum who did something very similar. He badged the car as a VR440 lol. It is indeed sick. Edit: found the guys cardomain page, apparently it's supercharged too. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3134282 There are more/better pictures out there somewhere, it's late though. Chad Bittle
so let me get this right? a 440 into a dodge avenger, interesting but why may I ask? Ever since they came out in Pro Stock I've loved 'em. Would I rather have a '70's Cuda or another Challenger??? Yea, but they are too far out of my budget so this would be my 3rd choice. The reason for a 440 is bc they are a popular Mopar platform. I wanna run 10.00's and still have a streetable car, for the money we want to put in to this project you'd have to wind a small block too far for my comfort.
