zeitgeist57
So I've had a slight "miss" to go along with my PCM problems in the Corvette. I had the engine running and the hood up, and I could hear sparks corresponding with the miss. Waited until sun went down, and there it was... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=8&pictureid=2161 The arc from the sparkplug wire boot to the head was like a thunderstorm! (apparently, with cracked porcelain it's easier for the spark to travel outside onto the head) Stupid NGK Iridium plugs! My Vette seems to be putting out enough spark...I'm going back to cheaper plugs, maybe copper. You spend $5-$8 per plug, and it still ends up being a problem anyway down the road. Lame. Thought I'd share...
