Rustlestiltskin
goodluck man, is the yellow sponge material a new method for keeping a large wound clean? I'm a newb in the medical world
wnaplay1647545503
Not sure what the sponge is for. Unfortunately my surgeon is not the brightest when it comes to wound healing and that sort of thing. We went in today and he was trying to have his nurse remove the sponging. She wasnt sure how and left shortly after trying. The dr who grafted the skin is who I am going to go back to on monday and let him try. They were just trying to rip the sponge out and I was literally about to pass out. This guy really doesnt seem like he knows what hes doing and cant sit down with me for more than 10 seconds to discuss exactly what is happening. I dont think hes exactly sure and doesnt know what to say so he really says nothing.
wnaplay1647545503
My wife has been amazing throughout this whole thing. I am literally an infant at times and she is stuck with the 3 kids also. I hope she can keep it up. I am sad because our anniversary is this weekend and we were going on a trip together for the first time in many years. we never had a honeymoon and I promised her this was the year. It just sucks. SpaceGhost
Dr. Berlet! Go see him! Holy christ that looks soooooooooooooooooooo Painful! If I was you, I would be doubling the percocet and if you get addicted, that is what rehab is for. I took Percocet every 4 hrs for almost a Month. Never got addicted. SpaceGhost
Wife says the sponge is there for the wound to heal from the inside out. If it wasn't there it would want to heal on top first and form a pocket that could get infected. She says from the pictures your wound looks like it is healing good. SHa says it looks clean. She runs clinical trials of Pre-FDA approved drugs for infections and wounds. She is an RN and sees this stuff everyday. My wife was paramount in my recovery. Primera
Fucking ouch! I'm not sure if Dr. Lawrence Lubbers deals w/ foot injuries or not, but if so, I HIGHLY recommend him. I went into Riverside w/ this: 3 severed tendons a severed radial artery a whole lot of nerve damage http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v354/deftapcubus/emoalex.jpg 3 months later, I'm back at work with full flexibility in my hand and just slight nerve damage. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v354/deftapcubus/emokidupdate.jpg His physical therapy staff is great and they take all precautions needed. His office: (614) 262-4263
