Guest JCroz91
so i might be getting a cam and springs here really soon. iv herd its easy to do but i feel like id rather have someone that knows what they are doing install it before i mess something up internally. its just a single cam on a s/c v6 mustang. all stock internals. asked a couple shops and they are asking way more than im wanting to spend to install it. heres the write up on how to do it to give u a general idea of what your getting into. http://3.8mustang.com/wiki/Camshaft but you will have to take the S/C and adaptor plate off. which are easy to remove. i can take them on in prob 15 min. just 10 bolts to hold the s/c to the adaptor and then like 12 bolts to hold the adaptor to the intake manifold. heres some pics of what the engine looks like with the s/c and adaptor on it. http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn176/jcroz91/Picture017.jpg http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn176/jcroz91/Picture018.jpg http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn176/jcroz91/Picture016.jpg
Alex L.
Talk to Rob @ Gearheadz about it. If you need the cam itself, let me know and I will see if I can get one for you.

99BlownYellowGT
Why even bother......not trying to be mean but it probably isnt cheap or really even worth it.
schmuckingham
Why even bother......not trying to be mean but it probably isnt cheap or really even worth it. Is modding any car worth it honestly? I understand what your saying in terms of cash to power ratio but some people want to be different. Guest JCroz91
I can't imagine that adapter plate setup flowing well. Rob will take care of you. it prob doesnt flow that well but its all they had to make it work and that whole s/c setup was less than a grand so it isnt too big of a waste, im just going to cam and it throw some meth on it too cool the IAT's and then ill prob be done cause the bottom end wont be able to hold much more power
