ImUrOBGYN
This summer, how would you like to lean back in your lawn chair and toss back a brew made from what may be the world’s oldest recipe for beer? Called Chateau Jiahu, this blend of rice, honey and fruit was intoxicating Chinese villagers 9,000 years ago—long before grape wine had its start in Mesopotamia. cont. http://www.scientificamerican.com/blog/60-second-science/post.cfm?id=9000-year-old-brew-hitting-the-shel-2009-06-05 Notice: If anyone knows where to get these beers when available, plz post back. I don't really drink anymore, but I'd be willing to go in on some with others.
zeitgeist57
I'm your huckleberry. I love cold, unfiltered sake, and that stuff sounds similar. Though, from a recipe that no doubt was made from nearly free products of the earth 9,000 yrs ago, I'm sure whomever is making it will charge a ton.
