ej20_ftw
SOLD I am selling my ’72 Datsun 240Z because I don’t have enough space to keep her. I purchased the car not too long ago from the third owner in Cleveland. The Good: 1. The car was originally from California, so the rust is much more less on this car. 2. I have not had a chance to put this car on a lift, but from what I can see the frame rails are in decent shape. They are in better shape compared to my ’76 280Z. The Bad: 1. It is currently not running, and according to the previous owner, the only thing that it needs is a gas tank. 2. The tail light area needs to be fixed. 3. The hatch area is gutted by the previous owner because he was going to install a fuel cell. I am pretty much free next week, so feel free to stop by to inspect the car. Piece: $1000 OBO. Please make offers via PM. http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa263/co_cakep/72%20Datsun%20240Z/IMG_1389.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa263/co_cakep/72%20Datsun%20240Z/IMG_1390.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa263/co_cakep/72%20Datsun%20240Z/IMG_1391.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa263/co_cakep/72%20Datsun%20240Z/IMG_1403.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa263/co_cakep/72%20Datsun%20240Z/IMG_1387.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa263/co_cakep/72%20Datsun%20240Z/IMG_1396.jpg Edited June 12, 2009 by ej20_ftw

caseyctsv
Those were like my favorite sports cars when I was a kid, I always thought it was funny that the radiator was behind the engine. If I had the time, motivation, and money I would be all over this. (Aren't ls1's a popular swap into these?) Looks like the radiator is in front of the engine to me (reverse hinged hood)? It would be a great car to swap an LS1 into.

Yes, it's been done, but the 350 SBC is more common.
