Dumb move..

I have a vehicle with 48692 miles. The lease allows for 48000 miles before I start getting charged 20 cents for every mile. I still have 6 months left on the lease. I'm going to end up giving them about $900 extra when its all said and done fml.

I still glad its a lease because I would have been anally raped on the resale value.

Car value at time of purchase: $40,000

Lease Price: $25,000 (plus all the discounts/perks totalling $2000-$3000 over the years)

Estimated resale value in January: $19,000

Amount of care I have for this vehicle = 0

Miles on the lease suck! then they cahrge you out the ass for them. I drive 50 miles round trip to work each day, which I don't think is great.. but not horrible either. If I just drove my car to work and back 5 days a week, I'd put 13K miles on it a year. Most lease offers only go up to 15K then you're better off buying the car... Oh well, good luck. time to start planning your next one.

V6 7 seater SLT with the extras. Price dropped $5000 like 2 weeks after I got it. If it wasnt a lease I would have driven it through the showroom and smacked someone with the fob...

I6, not V6.

My moms 2002 RWD trailblazer is suprizingly quick. If it had a decent transmission behind it such as the new 6 speed auto it would be a great engine for the size of the SUV. However the 4 speed sucks all life out of the engine and truely sucks. The engine has good hp up top, but is in desperate need of more tq.

Ours has been trouble free for 7 years and 90k miles. 2 brake jobs, 1 set of tires, and a broken spare tire lowerer thingy.

Oh and my father in law just bought a 2005 Envoy XL V8 loaded with leather, sunroof, bose, flip down dvd and such with 90k miles for $12,000. I would consider your resale estimate high even considering the low miles. Be glad you leased it.

300 shot and slicks at trails

Here is a rough sketch of what I think you should do before you turn it in. Mind you it needs some fine tuning but I think this will help the value a lot. We can start the work as soon as you are ready.

I have a question.

My mother's lease on her murano is up in a few months and she is about 12000+ miles over on her lease. Shes contemplating buying the truck when the lease is up, so how would this effect the charges? Do they wave them if you finance the car? Can she just roll them into the finance package?

She's knows nothing about cars, financing or leasing, and isn't the brightest bulb in the box.
