BPA is now an authorized MAP ECU dealer!

Performance Motor Research was started in 2002 with the intent of creating the best piggyback ECU on the market. Their products are designed to be easy to install and tune. PMR focused on making an ECU and tuning program that doesn't take a degree to understand and work with, as well as something that allows a car to be drivable and offer performance & economical improvements as well.

From the MAP ECU website:

"It is easy to get great looking dyno numbers but it is much more difficult to have a vehicle that can drive normally when required, returns good fuel economy, and produces great dyno results. The MAP ECU products are designed to deliver that."

Sadly, the MAP ECU (first generation, one on my SC300) is no longer in production. However the MAP ECU2 (one on my Supra) is.

Of course I carry the MAP ECU2 kits (ECU, 16-way 1M base harness, 16-way 1M timing harness, 2M IAT harness, IAT sensor, 2M serial cable, MAP CAL v.3.1 software), but all of the individual harnesses, sensors, interface modules, knock sensors, electronic boost control solenoids, igniters, and anything else that would be needed for a MAP ECU2 install.

More info on the products and parts can be found on their website (http://www.mapecu.com), and all of the tech help that one could ever ask for can be found on the MAP ECU forums (http://www.performancemotorresearch.co.nz/forum).

The MAP CAL software is very easy to use and comes with a variety of tuning maps for various engines. Here is a base map that I had done for the SC300:

PM me if interested in a kit or any of the parts listed. As always, voice any questions, comments, etc. here or in a PM to me.

BPA is proud to be a dealer of the best piggyback ECU on the market. :)
