need a 4r70w truck trans id tag decoded

fucking junkyard sold my buddy a trans that was longer than his stock one most of the numbers and things seem to match and it bolted in without issue, but the driveshaft is too long. I need to figure out if the shaft from whatever this other trans came out of will work or if we just need to get this other one shortened up in the morning

only thing I can find is they offered long and short transmissions in some trucks and vans if i can go get the driveshaft out of whatever this trans came from its all good but I want to try and figure it out tonight so I can call him and tell him weather to go to the yard or the driveshaft shop in the morning

one is a shorter tail for the longer drive shaft..with a carrier bearing shaft in it....

yes....be much easyer then going thru a bunch of shafts...
