Dave1647545494 Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 fucking junkyard sold my buddy a trans that was longer than his stock one most of the numbers and things seem to match and it bolted in without issue, but the driveshaft is too long. I need to figure out if the shaft from whatever this other trans came out of will work or if we just need to get this other one shortened up in the morning 2000 E250 5.4 4R70W any help would be great old trans ID tag reads PKF-BT YC2P-7000-DA 015866 F-BT 015866 New tag reads PKF-BU YC2P-7000-NA 027465 F-BU 027465 only thing I can find is they offered long and short transmissions in some trucks and vans if i can go get the driveshaft out of whatever this trans came from its all good but I want to try and figure it out tonight so I can call him and tell him weather to go to the yard or the driveshaft shop in the morning any info appeciated as always Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
