87GT
So my dad bought me this ammo and magazines at a yard sale. He though I could use them. I am not sure what it is for but the magazines look like they would fit a carbine rifle. Both magazines feel full. The only thing on the bottom of the bullet is L C 52. Any ideas what this is worth or what guns use this? http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/7796/dscn3086.jpg http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/9601/dscn3087.jpg
Drewhop
Only thing I could find was this. http://www.odcmp.org/1101/USGI.pdf Looks like it might be Military Surplus 30-06 ammo. Does not look like it in the pic tho. Or .30 chinese corrosive knock off ammo. From what I read chinese copied even the headstamp when making these rounds. But it was corrosive. RedRocket1647545505
It's .30carbine. LC stands for LakeCity, which is an ammo manufacturing plant, mostly for the military.

RedRocket1647545505
And incase you're wondering, those mags appear to go to an M1carbine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1_carbine

copperhead
Can't tell, got bigger pics? Gas, Grass or Ass on here has a .30 Carbine. He was just talking about it last night too, he said those guns are getting so expensive that he doesn't want to shoot his any more.
cinergi
It is 30 carbine manufactured by Lake City in 1952. It is shot in a 30 carbine rifle or some other strange firearms, like a Ruger Blackhawk revolver....
