Dave1647545494
I did some more research at work today and the same hydraulic bearing that fits 4cyl rangers also fits super coupes and 5.0 f150's what holds the assembly in place in the trans? or does it just float? Tinman
Although expensive one of these will save a lot of room. http://www.tiltonracing.com/content.php?page=hydraulic Incorporates the slave cylinder and throw out bearing together, no clutch fork or external slave to take up valuable exhaust real estate. Dave1647545494
thats the style I want to use, but ford used those from the factory in supercoupes.... is that a t5 trans or something else?
Dave1647545494
ok I found out you can use the supercoupe hydraulic bearing if you drill and tap the front bearing retainer to hold it in does anybody have a spare retainer I can take some measurements from so I don't drill all the way through it
Kevin Doe
I'd go with the one you were originally thinking.
Dave1647545494
the floating style?
Guest Removed
use the factory stuff, unless you are using some crazy stiff clutch. and it would be easyer and cheaper to plumb
