Stimmel1647545512 Posted August 13, 2009 Report Share Posted August 13, 2009 Car dies yesterday I push start it to get it home put it in the driveway put a new starter in in fires right up fine.... car wont go into 5th or reverse took both shifter cables out greased them etc I think the right to left direction one is toast so thats awesome also the car wont stay running under its own power at idle idles like a bitch and then when you rev it up and let it go back to idle it dies and the exhaust smells like gas and death any help or should i light the thing on fire?
