Guest tbutera2112
a few months ago i had a tire blow out.... the wheel didnt hold air so i was constantly filling the tire...eventually the tire let go, destroying the wheel in the process http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/SaleenSS90/0520090911.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/SaleenSS90/0520090851.jpg so i bought a brand new wheel ($320) tire ($200) and had all my wheels powdercoated ($100 per wheel all said and done)....i check my air pressure all the time now because im paranoid of it happening again since it was an expensive mistake before....i checked before i left for school and it all looked fine... after class i left to go to a job interview and the truck is riding fine like nothing is wrong, then boom... 70mph on 71 north right by 161 the tire blows out....i had a massive nail in it...ive hopped in my old truck before to go to work and drove it 2 feet before realizing one of my tires was flat *someone slashed it*...but this time the truck felt fine...i didnt have a flat when i left school but 10min later the sidewall shredded out...i musta hit that nail on the freeway and popped the tire or something...idk...but its fucking lame...i just had them powdercoated, brand new tire.... now im out all that money....gonna see if wheelmedic can fix my wheel and go from there...the person who sold me the tire didnt offer me a roadside warranty or whatever *according to rob they offer that* so now i have to buy another tire http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/SaleenSS90/0819091824.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/SaleenSS90/0819091825a.jpg overview of my day: go to work, get stuck doing shit jobs, stay an hr and a half late to fix other peoples fuck ups leave and it starts to pour so im soaked by the time i get to my truck since i park 100yards from the building...get my seats soaked asshole in traffic almost wrecks me by cutting me off get home to get ready for school and job interview and knick myself shaving leave for school and realzie i forgot directions to interview get to school 20min early and go to computer lab to print directions...computer fucks up and makes me late to class get into class and bomb my quiz because i missed a class last week for a job interview leave there and the tire fucks up late getting to my interview after interview i go to get on the freeway and theres a wreck... people are making an illegal turn to get on so i cut over that way after sitting for 10mins...i get up to the turn, im the next car in line to turn and a cop pulls up and blocks it off...get stuck taking back roads home.... hr and a half to get from sawmill rd to blacklick fuck today. V8 Beast
Been there too. Cousin blew her tire and was on my side of town so I went and helped her fix it. Then on my way to QS&L later the tire on my TA blew. After that my wife came to pick me up... on the way home she ran over a random block of wood on the freeway destroying her rim and tire. The entire day costs about $800 in tires, wheels, and body repair.

Zach1647545520
pretty sure if i realized it was low i wouldnt have drove on it...i checked it 2 hours before this happened I meant over time of driving on it low. Everytime you drive on it low it curves the side wall making a crease in it which makes it weak. IF you would have dismounted the tire before it blew I bet it had a ton a rubber shavings in it.
