wnaplay1647545503
Well, I have started my first resto project with my son who just bought his first road worthy vehicle. Its a majestic panther moped which sat in a garge for years. So far we have made sure it ran and drove which surprisingly it did with simply new fuel. It will be very budget minded so if any has any parts let me know. Heres a pic. So far it is in varying stages of dismantle. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF2173.jpg Edited September 18, 2009 by wnaplay
wnaplay1647545503
Found this write-up on line on how to make your own muffler which it desperately needs. Think it will work? http://scooter.wikia.com/wiki/Building_a_can_in_can_muffler
koolrayz
forget the muffler, get a boom tube. Nice father/son project! I did a couple of four wheelers and motorcyles with my son. Even did a couple for his friends. Years later you will look back rather fondly on the moments
KillJoy
I would say to go for it! It does not look to hard, or expensive... KillJoy
wnaplay1647545503
We fired this thing up the other night and I had ringing in my ears for hrs. Someone completely removed the baffles from this thing. Anyone have a small piece of that muffler wrap? And how much heat do you think it will produce? I dont want to get an epoxy that cant hold up.
