Anyone have experience with this gasket-maker?

I've used Hylomar on and off for years. Primarily for gearboxes that had to come apart often for gear changes. It stays "gel-like" so you can disassemble and reassemble parts without destroying gaskets. Can also be used instead of a gasket on matched machined surfaces. Tends to be a bit expensive, but worth it in these specific applications.

How does it wear? Considering using it in a cooling plate that will be warranted for a year. Lab environment, will be going back and fourth between room temp and 4C, 50/50 water and glycol. Its the "impervious to glycol" part that got my attention. ;)

lol..its good stuff..it might just pass your test tho ;)

same company makes alot of transmission bonding stuff for the oe's.

like toyobond, and hondabond, and yamabond or what ever wacky name that sealer gets.

good stuff really.
