RF? yes tune it to a radio station with no signal then tune your siruis to that channel in the FM stransmitter. but better off getting the diret connect, either through zux, or the inline antenna (basically runs the signal interferance through the cars antenna by piggy backing it with there connector.) if you do one one those 2 things then youll have crystal clear sound... if you use the Fm transmitter thats built into the unit it works, ans sometimes very good, other times not so well. RF? i have two of them they are made to stick to a window or windshield the radio sits in them they have a power plug and a antenna that u put on the out side of ur car.and if u have two cars u can move the radio without moving the hole thing from car to car.just the base station is 50.00 new.
