HAOLE Posted September 23, 2009 Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 In part of my business I do motor vehicle collision reconstruction. I am working on a case that involves a 1994 Ford Probe. The 1994 Ford Probe had a fixed head restraint that could not be adjusted. This design is very poor because variability of driver height. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety began evaluating the design of seats in 1995. The testing used a dummy to look at the risk factors for whiplash injuries due to design. The 1995 Ford Probe received a poor rating for this design. So my question is, did the 1994 and 1995 use the same seats? Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cereal_Killer Posted September 23, 2009 Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 93-97 were all the same, some slight differences, some had a hole in the head rest some didnt (just for looks) and what they were covered with depended on trim level but yes, they are the same seats.
