koolrayz Posted September 24, 2009 Report Share Posted September 24, 2009 Was at norwalk on 9-11, on the second pass it let go with a bang. These rods (lunati pro billet) were 5 years old. I thought about replacing them last winter, just didn't have the funds with the rest of the work I did on the car. I have the bone stock (12,000 mile) ls1 that came in the car. I am going to put it in for now. Maybe chase the stock LS1 record. Car is very heavy, 3825 on the norwalk scales. I was shocked as hell when he told me he was at trails then trailered up to Norwalk. Koolrayz Sorry to see that happen. I tried to find ya later on that night but you were not near your car. They try to run that event pretty quickly. Hope to see you back up there!
