When you hit the "lock" button on the keyfob, the lights blink and the horn beeps, but no locking/unlocking from any of the doors. 40A fuse for power door locks is good. Guest Removed Posted September 27, 2009 Report Share Posted September 27, 2009 caravan or grand caravan? 2.4l 3.3l or 3.8l? edit: some info DOOR LOCK INHIBIT When the key is in the ignition (in any switch position) and either front door is opened, the door lock switches LOCK functions are disabled. The UN-LOCK functions are still functional. This protects against locking the vehicle with the key still in the ignition. The RKE key fob will still lock the doors. After the key is removed from the ignition or the doors are closed, the power door locks will operate normally. the body control module in these controls the door locking functions. most helpful thing is a drb3 dodge scan tool. testing thru it can normally tell you where the issue is.
