AWW$HEEET
The guy im buying this flywheel claims the friction plate can be resurfaced with a 3M Roloc pad. Of course my other option is just purchasing the friction surface, as it is replacable. Anyone tried resurfacing one of these in this manner? Here are some pics for reference: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v351/xsverdict/UUCLTWFly1.jpg?t=1254504345 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v351/xsverdict/UUCLTWFly2.jpg?t=1254504400
Cereal_Killer
That one looks pretty fucked, I have cleaned them up before with a roloc but now one starting out like that, just buy a new one or take that one to a shop and get it done. I guess you could just rub it on the concrete some.

Cordell
You know having to ask should be your first clue. The only way to fix that is to throw it in the sand box.
AWW$HEEET
Anyone know who will resurface it in cols then? I think a new one is $100. If its gonna be more 'spensive than that, then i wont resurface it.

twistedfocus1647545489
I'm petty sure mine was done at Columbus Col-Weld. it has been a while though. It was pretty cheap (<$30 as I recall).
Guest Removed
if has the removable section...first thing to do is remove it...do not try to turn that in the flywheel. second IMO, you can clean it up with a roloc, then check the surface with a straight edge. if its not straight buy a replacement friction center for it.. is it a solid steel center? or does it have fiction material on it? keep in mind guys..this is in no way a solid steel flywheel that you can just run down to the parts store and turn. AWW$HEEET
I think it is just straight steel. Went to their site and could not find the friction surface, googled around and found them for $70. Ill probably go this route.
