wnaplay1647545503
Isnt the can under pressure to spray it in? Should be able to take it to the fitting and push on, releasing the dye into system.

CRed05
system is under pressure whether its running or not. From what I remember that was the instructions on those diy at home kits. I've never used the stuff, like you said, I've heard it likes to clog shit.

craig71188
And sealer seals whatever it's in when it comes in contact with air/moisture - so most leaky systems tend to wind up with hardened sealer EVERYWHERE. If anyone ever bothered to read/follow the instructions on a can of sealer, they wouldn't use it. (sealer in the system will also void every ac componenet manufacturer's warranty as well) You can sometimes find 134a with dye in it - a little is plenty, but as mentioned DO NOT buy stuff with sealer in it. AJ
there is an inline tool that will put the dye in it as well. hooks up between the high and low side fittings.
