RUTAN TA1647545492
I have the same spec 3 in my car for 6 years and ive replaced the disk once just because i had the trans out. I probably put 35,000 on the clutch and 150+ 1/4 mile passes

Total Sign
Wow, that rocks.... You should have seen it, door down, in a small barn, lighting them up. It was so loud, smoke everywhere, and that boy can drive, I mean seriously one slip up and it would have gone through the wall.

DKilbourne
i had a spec 3 in my car last year. didnt last the year.... I put a spec 3 in when I had the tranny built earlier this year. Drove it like an old woman for 500 miles and have been beating on it since. I've heard good and bad on these clutches. So far, mine has done fine. Just had to get used to slipping it out a little higher to not get the clutch chatter. I'll wait and see if it lasts through next year before I make any real judgements on it though. thorne
Who ever suggested southbend isn't qualified to change oil. And proper brake in is a must my spec holds 200 more ft lbs than that car makes and it's only a spec 3 not even a 3+ I won't lie I'm not to happy with southbend I mean they did replace my first stage 3 that gave up the ghost but I was not making anywhere near the power that the stage 3 was supposed to hold. Now my stage4 seems to be holding ok it just a bit more harsh to drive.
