tripleGmax
I have some 18 inch wheels im shipping and was wondering if you guys had any tricks to offer up to protect them or know of a place i could get boxes for 18s. Ive tried discount tire before, years ago, and they said they dont usually have boxes for wheels. If anyone has boxes for them Id love to take them off your hands. AudiOn19s
The cheapest way is here. Creating an account with UPS is easy and simple. Print everything yourself and just drop off at your nearest location. All they did was verify weight and I was out the door: http://www.apexa.net/Blog/web_design_Blog_20090709.aspx I followed this advise and recently shipped two pairs of wheels. One pair shipped from Here to NC, they were 17's and I managed to fit them in an 18x18x18 box. Pair shipped to NC was < $30 Another pair was 18's going to canada. international is pretty steep. Ended up being $60 to canada, would have been like $35 to a US destination. The biggest issue you need to look out for when box shopping is that 18" diamter wheels won't fit in an 18" box. I think there wer 20x20x20 boxes as long as the wheels aren't that wide. I got dicked on my 18's because they were 18 x 10's and again the dimensions of the box are external so it's not really as big inside the box. I had to end up getting a 24x24x24 box to ship my wheels which cost me a few extra $$$ Andy

Crossle
I would put all 4 in the same box and ship them like that... No, but seriously the above advise is great and how most companies ship new wheels.
AudiOn19s
I got one of my boxes from ups but check places like walmart and meijer. I've since see them both places
