Mister2
depends on bike, tool selection and ones mechanical skills, on my 00 cbr, the first time took about 1 hr 15 min from start to finish second time was down to 35 min. ReconRat
Have to be easy or comfortable or both in lifting/shifting the tank first. Then attacking the plugs. Some people find the tool clearances under the tank to be difficult. So it's going to be hard to say. Less than an hour for the plugs. Who knows for the tank and clearances. I don't know your bike well enough to say. Fuel injected tanks are a pain to remove. Do not turn the front forks with the tank out of place, it can hit the tank and damage the paint. that dude
it took me about 30 minutes with a 6 pack and a gram of coke!
ReconRat
ok, just checked a 636 manual, and it appears that the tank will come off. The factory service manual is too retarded to give any idea how long or even how.
cpeezygsxr600
it took me and hour on my gsxr the first time ... but it was really easy so no worries
badgerfan
It really runs the gamut depending on your bike. I have an Yamaha FZR400 that takes me about an hour if I don't get so pissed off at contorting my fingers trying to do it. A wobble extension helped a ton. EagleCock
If you're left handed, add 2 hours. But if you have tiny asian hands, about 15 mins

phugitive
Here's a tip: After you break the sparkplug loose, slip a 3/8" rubber hose over the end of the sparkplug and turn the hose to remove the sparkplug.Install the plug in reverse order using the same hose and finish tightening with a socket. The two biggest mistakes to watch out for are cross threading the plug, and over tightening to the point of stripping the threads in your head. You should be able to run the plug in 90% of the way finger tight then just snug them up with a socket not to tight.Good Luck
