  1. ...and why can't you keep everything AND add on? (rhetorical question)
  2. You have to checkout some old Westerns, they used to spin rifles just like handguns. Shootin gangsta wouldn't be a problem if you were one of those guys.
  3. The insert inside the bar is attached firmly, wiggling it won't make it budge.
  4. I tried to upload a pic but for some reason it won't happen. It's just a generic brand but it's pretty straight forward how they want you to install it. There is a expanding insert that is controlled by a screw. But unless the threaded insert (that holds the bar end) inside the bar comes out, the mirror insert can't fit in.
  5. F that. I think that is such a pain to take the throttle apart just for the mirror. I was really hoping there was another way. If there isn't, they go on the other bike then. Oh well. thanks.
  6. I have an Infiniti G35 coupe and I thought it would be a great idea to put an Injen catback exhaust system on it. I regret it now. I've actualy had it on in the past and switched back to the stock exhaust until this last week. (it was much louder than the stock exhaust and hard to talk on the phone) i guess all the switching back and forth ws hard on the bolts and one is stripped badly. I tried to cut it off but only managed to get part of it. Now I think it is not particularly sealed very well and hence louder. Annoying. I can't fix it. Does anyone know of a muffler shop that could torch off the bolts so I could just use regular bolts and nuts to put the old exhaust back on? Oh, preferably a reputable shop which won't bend me over for it. A local dealer said it would take a couple of hours at a shop rate of about $70/hour. I refuse to believe it would take that long with the right tools. any suggestions?
  7. I bought bar end mirrors for my CBR600RR. I wanted to take the big mirrors off for a different look. The mirrors come with adaptors that plug in and expand. I take the bar ends off and there is a threaded insert filling up the bar. How do these mirrors work then? Does the threaded piece come out somehow? I tried just getting a longer bolt to put the right mirror on the end of the bar end, but it's loose and the wind moves it. The left one I could just crank down on and that is pretty solid in the wind because that one is in between the grip and the bar end. I can't do that on the right side because the throttle moves the mirror. what obvious point am I missing here?
  8. 1. Goose Island Honker's Ale (brewed in Chicago) 2. Pabst Blue Ribbon - what can I say, it reminds of high school. 3. Bass Ale
  9. There is one in Indian Hill, but it is semi-private. The waiting list for non-residents is allegedly very long. There is one in Ross; Butler County Sportsmen's Club. There may be memberships available with that one. There maybe one in Fairfield but I have never heard anyone talk about it, I just saw it listed in the YellowPages once I thought (long time ago). TargetWorld does kind of suck because it's small and way too crowded. there has to be more than what I came up with (right?) but that's all I know. Good luck.
  10. No, handguns are easy to get...assuming you're not a felon. Although even if you were I'm sure you could get one easily around 8th & Vine!
  11. Yeah, it's getting hard to find anything but .22 unless you want to pay alot for it. Forget WalMart, they are perpetually out. I think their trucks get ambushed before they get to the stores. I was recently walking through Meijer and it surprised the hell out of me that they even sold ammo. I figured they didn't sell guns, why then have ammo? But their prices are high compared to WalMart. (then gain, does it matter how cheap it is if they don't have it?) Still, they had a nice quantity of 9mm. Others too. Mail order is still the way to go. I was actually thinking about reloading my ammo now that it is hard to find.
  12. It really runs the gamut depending on your bike. I have an Yamaha FZR400 that takes me about an hour if I don't get so pissed off at contorting my fingers trying to do it. A wobble extension helped a ton.

    Skyline Fan?

What's wrong with you if you don't like a 3-way?...oh, and I love Skyline too. I'm not originally from Cincy but I would eat it breakfast, lunch, and dinner somedays if I could. I'm not sure why Skyline doesn't work in everyother part of the country.
  14. You do realize you are just going to have to breakdown and buy a system...and then let me borrow it!
  15. Hello All, I live in the cincinnati area and am new to the site. It looks like SouthWest Ohio is well represented.
