zeitgeist57 Posted December 18, 2009 Report Share Posted December 18, 2009 Coworker of mine is looking to have his Aurora 4.0L V8 fixed, but the shop wanted $800 to do the job. I offered to check on CR first...especially knowing that Rob is trolling around this section somewhere. The shop in Pickerington he took it to "smoked" the intake after he had a racing RPM issue at idle. They noticed a crack on the backside of the manifold. I suggested that JB Weld might be a reasonable solution depending on how big the crack may be, or that someone on here could do an intake swap for around $400 all in...
