Max tire size for a 94 Honda Civic Ex

Ok, I'm tire retarded. I looking at getting some winter tires off of someone and he said that they are 14 inch wheels w/tires off of his 95 Honda accord. The quick question is, will these fit my civic? I believe the stock tire size for the 95 accord that year was 185/70/14. And I currently have 185/60/14.

i think they have a different bolt pattern from civic to accord so no.

Even if they were the same rim you're looking at around and inch and a half height difference. 185/60/14's are around 22.75 inches and the 185/70/14's are around 24.2 inches. May work but your speedo will be off a bit.

If it's a 4x100 wheel, then yes they will fit.. it's just a slightly taller tire.

last time i tried to put 4 lug accord wheels on a 4 lug civic the bolt pattern was different. the civic being 4x100 and the accord being 4 x110 or some thing like that.

Or get a set of steelies cheap and swap tires. Im sure somebody can do it on the cheap.
