Bam
my printer (HP PSC 1610) doesn't print the TOP of some of the lines. Mainly near the beginning and end of the documents, and its only like the upper half of the words, for a line or two. The rest prints fine and looks good. Any ideas or is it time to buy a new one? 01sentrase2.0
do what killjoy said. take a paper towel with water and run it with the lines on the cartridge itself and it should help clean it up.

KillJoy
If this doesn't work buy a new printer. It would be cheaper that way. Yup.... when Ink Cartridges / Printheads are $30 each... it makes a $50 Printer that has a Warranty MORE THEN worth it. KillJoy

Tractor
the cartridge as in the ink cartridge or is there something seperate? im not sure what a print head is... Take out the ink cartridge, turn it over and you'll usually see a small silver rectangular area that has ink on/around it. Clean that area, but don't press to hard because you have thousands of tiny holes that you don't want to smash shut. Just touching it a few times with wet towel should be enough. I use alcohol, but whatever.
