DKilbourne
You don't have to o-ring the block. The Trick Flow gasket kit from Summit is the cheapest way to go. That gasket kit also uses the Fel-Pro Loc-wire head gaskets, but includes everything else that you will need as well.
CRed05
Is that like a knock off of Edelbrock?
Guest 614Streets
My edelbrock heads are set up the same way. http://614streets.com/edelbrockheads4.jpg My block has the wire ring http://614streets.com/Block.jpg The way mine is set up is the block has the same groove with the wire in it. The head gasket is a silicone laminated gasket from Flatout racing. http://614streets.com/flatoutgasket.jpg The Heads groove is the "reciever" When torqued down the wire smashes up into the head gasket and the gasket into the reciever groove... I think yours is set up for the wire lock fel pros which is like a step below my type of set up and secure the top half of the gasket by using a built in oring on the gasket itself.
