That's what counts. +1 the other driver was not injured--actually, there was probably less damage to her car (passenger door, fender, mirror, and rear taillights) then mine. Flybye Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 My little 95 Corolla just glides over the snow. My tires aren't even that good...it just takes a little effort to get moving. I haven't had any issues yet, other than the idiots around me. A little ebrake into the turns helps out alot..... Sorry to hear about your accidents...glad you two are okay. My fiance has the mentality that snow is nothing... and while i am cautious as shit out there, I hope she never has to find out how dangerous (mainly people in much bigger cars) can be. ImUrOBGYN Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 Well, Norm's little WRX is a tempt of fate everytime it's driven. Summer tires do no good in this, AWD or not. It's been in the ditch once already. Just had to pop the bumper back on. Norm was driving that time, though. lol Though I did get it stuck on a rock off roading. Very slippery like driving on ice everywhere. The RAV has been faultless. Actually, takes some of the fun away until you turn off all the safety goodies. Supra hasn't left the garage.
