skrewloose Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 no, just the av360 crap hit a couple of co-workers... if it is anything like that, best bet is to plug in the hard drive into another machine... it hides in the page file, registry and some other files that are liked by a running system. We have started replacing spybot with this at work to rid ourselves of viruses and malware and it works quite nicely. We were re-imaging machine left and right for a time. ross Posted February 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 22, 2009 i put anti-malware and superantispyware on my mom's computer and removed spysweeper.anti-malware found 71 issues and superantispyware found 257 issues...my mom had just finished running spysweeper so that just goes to show how much stuff spysweeper wasn't finding.
