  1. To put it bluntly, these are two facilities moving in opposite directions. PIRC has been on a consistent path of improvement, and has engaged their clients and customers as they have gone alone. Mid Ohio (or the new Nelson Ledges, as one friend labeled it) continues to slowly deteriorate with no inclination to improve. I think we're more apt to see further changes to PIRC (the aforementioned gravel traps and additional airfence a must have for the next major racing event) than we are to MidOH. Heartbreaking as it may be for us Buckeyes that have long standing fond memories of the place in its heyday.
  2. Infrequently used, never abused 2012 Ducati 848 EVO. 2,772 original miles. Aside from a set of CRG shorty levers and an A&R race baffle kit she is all stock. Original levers, passenger seat & footpegs are included, as well as the Pit Bull rear stand seen here and Pit Bull fork stand pin. I am the second owner. Purchased from the original owner in May of 2015, and it had 1100 miles on it at that time. Title held by my credit union. $8700* PM me for details if interested.
  3. I am proud to have ridden with these guys, and fortunate for the opportunity to have done something in Ryan's memory. Craig and Ron did a great job getting the bike to where it was Saturday morning, and Ryan helped Craig see it through to the end. Thanks to everyone that came out and supported us, and to the quick fellas in the pit ahead of us It was truly the best thing I have ever done on a motorcycle.
  4. I am locked in now for Tuesday. Work forced me to call of going today, which looked like was a great day weather-wise. Hoping for the same tomorrow.
  5. Fuckin' Josiah.... Just texted you, bruh
  6. I am in for the 5th WP...and sorry to hear Tim was tossed rudely from his otherwise trusty steed.
  7. Getting ready for the season. Sent the suspension off for a refresh, new fluids, general once over. Will tinker with her each day until the suspension is back just to show some love.
  8. Late to the party here. Bought a mag indoor trainer last Sunday and have been putting several miles a day on it. Time to get my plump ass in shape.
  9. This is crushing. Our track family has become part of my extended family. Shannon and the kids love each of those that we have adopted through the course of racing, and Ryan was one of the first ones in. He was the genuine article, and is supremely missed.
  10. Thanks man. I think I have the bike logistics worked out, but will call you if otherwise. Yeah, the plan is to have the bike and my track gear transported via the buddy system, and for me to fly in Friday, do the TD Saturday, and jet out Sunday to Vegas. Depending on the range of flights to Vegas and the timing, I might do half of Sunday. I'll know more as it gets closer.
  11. I might be in for this. Hammering out logistics since I am due to travel to Vegas for work that Sunday. May just have to leave a couple days early and re-route through Alabama.
  12. Someone needs to snatch this thing up at that price.
  13. R.I.P., rider. Condolences to the family and friends.
  14. I am running the 600 SS novice races down there. You should too!
  15. Part of the reason I think received my order in 24 hours is because I reached out to Mike first thing Monday morning, knowing that if I wanted something this week (which was my expectation going in, not 24 hours service) I was going to have to take whatever they had in stock in MI, and get my order in ASAP. So I pinged Mike, told him exactly what I needed, and he got back to me quickly with what my options were item-wise. This all happened before lunch time Monday. I didn't expect or ask for special treatment, nor do I think Mike did anything for me that he wouldn't do or hasn't done for countless other guys here. I think I am more the benefactor of perfect timing more than anything else. But Mike busts his ass for me, and has for a ton of other guys here. So to come in here and bash him is kind of uncalled for, IMO. Paying for an order mid day any day should come with realistic expectations that it probably won't get pulled, packaged, and shipped before the end of that day - unless you paid for and requested expedited shipping. And comparing ordering from a brick and mortar fulfillment place using scheduled shipping pickups from carries to a private seller that is walking into their local neighborhood post office or UPS store is apples to oranges. I would say your experience of ordering Friday and getting to the post office by Monday night would be more than acceptable by most standards. That's next business day, and SOP most places.
  16. Once again, Mike at @RidersDiscount has come through for me! Messaged him yesterday saying I needed new gloves for the races coming up this weekend (as if I was somehow unaware that I needed new ones since the end of last year...nothing like prior planning). 24 hours later these are on my doorstep! Couldn't beat the price, and damn sure couldn't beat the customer service once again. Thanks Mike! He has helped me (and my Mrs.) pick up exactly what I've needed to get ready again for the season.
  17. Good looking bike! Seems a little high at $3200, but not bad. Love that color blue! I have a buddy looking for a first bike. This might not be a bad option.
  18. We have State Farm, and am looked at USAA, as I am a banking member there. Just about everyone is double when you add the teenager so far that I've seen. Which is why if our boy wants added, he will have to use his provided car to acquire gainful employment to pay for said doubling of insurance.
  19. Yeah, I am not a fan of the SPs. Those are what came on my 848 and I am not impressed with them. Going to swap them for Rosso Corsa IIs this season. You might like those, but not sure what your touring mileage would be.
  20. I would not buy valve stem caps from State 8, let alone let them work on a single thing I own.
  21. Dude, that thing looks nasty, and fun as hell!
  22. I'll make is easy for everyone. She's no longer for sale.
