unfunnyryan
i have widgets, multitasking, and never use itunes so i think you need to read up You iPhone users don't understand multitasking. No, you don't. Not in the way that Android phones do. For the majority of apps on an iPhone when you hit the home button to return to the main screen, the process ends. You are not seamlessly switching between live apps.
V8 Beast
I don't understand why you whould want to do both at once anyway.... V8 Beast
Att sucks, Tmobile sucks, and Verizon makes you have data packages on all their damn phones... so they suck too. Out of the 3, tmobile uses the most lube when assfucking your wallet.

Kevin R.
LOL @ iPhone people. A lot of my friends have iPhones and when I started showing them my Droid all they do is say how much better the iPhone does the same thing or that the iPhone "did it first". However, when it gets to all the cool shit the Droid does better they all go, "Wow, yeah, I guess that is pretty cool," and I can tell they are jealous of it. Plus, you get all the cool features without having to be a Apple fag.

Hence why i am working on coding my own apps and also work on cracking apps so others can have them for free.
jerrodh
Who actually has the Droid though? How do you like the slide-out keyboard, i was considering getting one in the next two months but dont Know if I like the keyboard, the keys seem really stiff. Kevin R.
I have the Droid Eris. No slide out keyboard. I liked the size of the phone. The regular Droid seemed huge to me. After a day or two of the phone learning how I typed I loved the onscreen keyboard.

The droid's keyboard sucks balls...no joke. But in a pinch it's still better than the onboard one for some things.. for texting (with correction) I find I can use the on-screen keyboard. For other more serious matters, I use the hardware keyboard. If I could take the kb from my TP2 and melt it on to the DROID, I'd have the perfect phone. El Karacho1647545492
AT&T's coverage map claims that all of Columbus gets 3G coverage but my ex couldn't get it in her entire neighborhood in Dublin. AT&T has gone beyond spinning facts to try and compete with Verizon a la "Our network covers over 230million people!"...yeah, your voice network's geographic area encompasses 230nil people. Verizon's network since the acquisition of Alltel geographically covers 290mil people and their network is about 8mil people larger than AT&T (86mil versus 78mil). Beyond that, AT&T has made it pretty clear that their priority right now is just expanding their San Francisco and NYC 3G capabilities as that is where they are having the most complaints from iPhone users. If you get it and have a problem, you're SOL.
justinwebb
but i guarantee you that if verizon gets the iphone you will see similar network problems as they also dont have the infrastructure to handle the huuuuuge bandwidth that us iphone users take up. They claim they are ready but i see the same thing happening with verizon once all the kids and teens get their hands on the phone, dropped calls, slow networks, and the same thing att has right now. I have never had one problem with att no dropped calls or anything and i am all over

Just keep on gloating. Verizon has a far more advanced network, and that's that.

I don't agree... the keyboard is different... but once you get used to it, it's just like any other keyboard. I've never been much for on screen keyboards and it seems to work just fine for me. With that being said, it would be alot nicer if maybe the screen slid up a bit more allowing a little space between the top of the keyboard and the first row of keys. CRed05
i have widgets, multitasking, and never use itunes so i think you need to read up The widgets on the iphone is just an app thats running. You dont have a "desktop" so therefor you cannot have a widget that sits on the desktop. The black background where all the app icons sit is not a desktop. Apple does not allow apps to run in the background. Go and try to run Latitude in the background and share your location while switching over to something else. Tell me, how would you load multimedia on and off your phone? With USB? With an SD card? Now I'm sure you are jailbroken and it will you do some of these things to an extent, like multitasking, but its not true multitasking and I dont think it will all of a sudden give you a desktop either. Neither does it give you a USB port or removable storage.

Yes I can background stuff and do it all the time so you are very mis informed and need learn before speaking. We have widgets and its not really an app as it sits anywhere that you want lockscreen or on the springboard, and its still a widget you need to look up the definition. I can transfer files via USB and wifi why do i need a removable card?? i just access it via wifi and much faster then removing a card putting it in somewhere else then opening it on a computer.
