FS: 19" Dronell Type-5, staggered (EXTREMELY RARE)

These are Dronell Type-5s, which are extremely rare true 3-pc wheels. (similar build to HRE, DPE, Forgeline, etc..). They cost $4,000 new MSRP, and good luck finding them anywhere these days as they are no longer found for sale in the US, and if you do, at this price.

 

Dronells are authentic Japanese wheels and are/were imported by a respectable firm called AKT USA.

They are 19x8.5 (f) and 19x9.5 ®, with custom deep black powdercoat on the centers and polished lips. In 2006 I had them completely refurbished including the powdercoating, re-polishing the lips, new hardware, ACCU-TRU mounted to make sure they were prefectly round, and new custom BMW roundels for each center cap, which all together cost me close to $1k to have done.

 

3 of the 4 wheels have Toyo T1-R tires, with maybe 50% tread life, the 4th tire had a blow out, so is not included. I am essentially giving the tires for free w/ the wheels, if you dont want them, I can take them off before I send them.

 

I'm not sure on the exact offsets, but they fit my 328i with no rubbing issues whatsoever (H&R cupkit suspension). And on a 323ci w/ factory sport suspension also with no issues. The lips are the same size all around, approximately 1.5-2"
