Head studs vs head bolts

I have arp head bolts on my car now. Under high boost the heads lift off of the block and the coolant system gets pressurized and blows coolant out the over flow tank. Normal driving it is fine. No leaks no smoke. Now I think the arp heads bolts are allowing them to lift and was wondering if head studs would hold them down better. I am goin to check the block to make sure it is not warped. If it is straight should studs be my option to prevent this from happening. The same thing happened to the car with the previous owner.

1/2" A1 headstuds

A1 > L19 :)

True But L-19's cost twice what a regular ARP stud kit cost.

A-1 tool steel studs cost twice what the Arp L-19 cost. Over 1K for stock diameter head studs (what I was quoted) is one hell of a lot of money.

For the record A-1 also sells regular 8740 studs for the LS engines not just the tool steel studs.
