cinergi
What purpose are you looking to serve with it? I have a few different kinds, but I need more info to help you make your decision... serrated, blade length, steel requirements, etc.
Trouble Maker
I've got a CRKT that I really like (not looking to sell, just another suggestion). They make some pretty cool/interesting designs imho. Maybe this one, not 100% sure, but mine's very close to this. http://www.crkt.com/M16-10-EDC-Black-ZytelHandle-AutoLAWKS-Combo-Edge

Benner
If you want one to do little odds and ends like cutting rope or simple stuff like whittling I highly suggest Case knives. The blades are made from a vanadium mixture so they will blemish if not kept clean and oiled but they'll keep a great edge. http://www.wrcase.com/index_en.php

Its not the size of the wave, but the motion of the ocean...

El Karacho1647545492
I have an Uzi Defender non-serrated, 3 1/8" blade. 440 high-carbon steel, 6061 aluminum handle with black rubber grips. I've owned this blade for 4 years, always been my utility blade. I always thought it was of decent quality, I kinda expected it to break since I didn't spend $100 or anything, but its been a solid knife. No major blemishes with the blade or anything. I'd part with it for $30, its not the cleanest looking knife but what do you expect for a utility blade.
