macpyro2
bet you never fly again. Actually you go to a committee and if you did everything in your power to maintain control of your aircraft and made good judgement for your actions most of the time nothing happens you keep your wings. Most of the time pilots do nothing wrong its usually mechanical error. The Air force spends to much money and resources to train a pilot to just let them go because a jet crashes. Avenger1647545502
In my mind, the worst weapon would be an EMT generator, which would effectively kill the connection and power for a drone...but that would wipe out a manned fighter jet also, amirite??? EMP, and it might interrupt the signal at worst. The aircraft will most likely keep flying, all military electronics are hardened to resist EMP. The on-board systems would continuously attempt to regain the control signal while steering the aircraft into a holding pattern, after a set number of attempts the drone will autonomously fly to, and land at, a pre-programmed airfield. There have been a few drones in Afghanistan that have had to do it already, usually problems with the control van causing signal loss.
