EDIT: sorry for not being more specific... i have my xbox in one room and the router in another room, and im trying to connect through my laptop, does anyone know how this is done with windows 7? i did it with my vista laptop but it doesn't seem to work the same. a7x1990 Posted March 22, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) nvm Lock it up i figured it out now. for those that have windows 7, connect your xbox via Ethernet cable to your laptop open network connections and click change adapter settings then highlight the 2 connections that you need to bridge (one is the regular connection and the other is with your xbox.) right click them after you highlight them and click bridge connection. after this is done you should be able to connect.
