Hey all, New guy from worthington. Currently building a first gen dsm, looking forward to getting her running and getting back into the car scene, been stuck in a jeep for a couple years after wrecking my last build.

Welcome...but before you completely wreck your rep and intro here, read the newb sticky and post up some pics. Details man or it will be an ugly scene within 24hrs.

Bought it with a broken timing belt for a great deal considering the conditon of the body and interior, only previous mods, greddy profec-b boost controller, walbro 190

Build plans:

Mahle 8.5:1 pistons

Manley H-Beam Rods

Manley Stainless valves

Manley Valve springs, titanium retainers, locks

arp headstuds

Gates timing belt

Balance shaft eliminator kit

just a start to get it running again, many future mods to come

thanks guys,

I was really shocked when i first went to look at it, found a posting on craigslist and there weren't any pics so i wasn't really expecting much but much to my surprise, i have all the original service records, owners manual, etc. I even got the original window sticker. I thought it was worth the investment!

Clean car. Seems like everyone who has a 1g in Columbus, all have a 90. lol. If you need help, let me know.

I fuckin hate 1990, I can't figure out the tach, I believe 1990s are the only year with a noise filter? But welcome fellow dsmer

Welcome fellow DSM'er. Looks just as clean if not just a tad cleaner than mine. Same color scheme. Very nice man. Also props for doing the work yourself. It can be challenging. If you need the clutch pedal assembly removed to have it welded I can help you out with that as I just dide mine so I am fairly comfortable doing it again.

The only rust it has is in the door jams, a small 1 inch circle on both sides near the door switch, other than that the body is rust free, small dent in the fuel door (easy fix with a new one), a small one below it, and 3 small dents in the b-pillar where someone tried to break into it which i'm sure set off the factory alarm that still works, very surprising for a car that was originally sold in Columbus and spent its life between here and Marysville, the clear coat is faded a little on the rear quarters but its not too bad.
