zeitgeist57
Looking for a cheap set of LT1 "shorty"-style headers for my '95 Vette. I snapped off a couple of flange studs, and with the EGR elimination I'm thinking about saying "fuggit" to the stock cast-iron monsters. Also, bonus to anyone that has the simple, double male barb LT1 THROTTLE BODY COOLANT BYPASS kit as well.
smokin5s
from experience, I would shy away from shorty headers... my far first had shorty headers before I went to LT and they were an absolute BITCH.

zeitgeist57
The only LT's I know of for the LT1 Corvette eliminate the cats and cost a boat load. I was looking for a cheaper alternative...thanks for the suggestion...
zeitgeist57
Well...FML. I have cracked manifolds. That's good because it explains the wierd "open loop" emissions code I would get when the engine heated up (oxygen introduced into exhaust from cracks, tripping O2 sensors). I definitely need any cheap exhaust header options for my Corvette. I'm not looking to upgrade power, but at the same time if I have to buy manifolds I don't want to get stock cast-iron boat anchors...please help!
