87GT
Been tossing around the idea to get a Dodge Ram 1500. Specifically a 2005 v8 version. Will be used for daily driving and hauling. What is good and bad about this year? Edit: Forgot to mention regular cab, long bed, not sure about 2wd or 4wd...
BloodRed
I have an 09 Crew Cab, 5.7, with short bed and 4x4. Just got back from vacation and averaged out to 21 mpg going 75 mph most of the time when on the highway. So I figure that is pretty good with 5 people and the bed loaded to the rails. I am on http://www.ramforumz.com, they seem to be a pretty good place for info on all the Ram models.
B.M.
My father-in-law has an 05,nice trucks, his is the quadcab or whatever it's called, but nice running, decent on gas for a v8.I have a 95 extended cab, still holding up and running good with 125,000 miles so i'd say the one your looking at should be a good truck.
