I also think that a little cruise is in order to weed out all out race cars. maybe 20 miles or so. if you dont make the cruise you will be DQ'ed. sound good with everyone? Guest Whine Posted May 26, 2010 Report Share Posted May 26, 2010 (edited) ive been talking with the guy that puts on king of the street in st louis and here is the kinda cars he gets with having a cruise. this is what he posted on another forum: We set them up where you have to take a 20 mile cruise in ST louis traffic and then come back pull in front of the grandstands and wait to race. There is no tuning or opening the hoods once we return from the cruise. That weeds out any that arent street cars imo. Here is a couple vids from one of the races. I should be able to pull a mid 9s pass easy right now maybe even a low 9s pass. I just have to see if I can get off work on whatever day it ends up being.and can make the 20 mile drive easy with the ac on but I run race fuel when spraying. I am willing to try to make anything work. i even thought about just have 2 forums vs each other. but thats low prize money and i dont see very many coming to race for 100 bucks or free. i dont know maybe something will come up.
