easy/cheap to rebuild/replace motor?

Thinking about a pwc again and came across this...

I don't figure it'd be too hard/expensive to put a motor in this, right? I mean a grand or so? Even if I end up with $2k in it, it'd still be cheaper than anything that new and I'd know it had a new motor w/ warranty.

Any ideas? Local places to call/ask? Or should I run far far away?

i was almost interested in this one too. it is worth the asking price. still unsure if it is worth the fix it price. if you can do the work yourself and source the parts right you are ok. you plan on taking it somewhere...not worth it.
