Shawn89
So the other night the headlights stoped working on my zx6. I've checked all the fuses and the plugs up front. I can't figure it out. I was wondering if someone here has ever had the same problem or could tell me where to start. Any info would be great, thanks.
ICEMAN1647545504
Check the relay. Did you ride it in the rain??? Or maybe washed it with the hose???
Shawn89
Nope never rode it in the rain or anything. Where is the relay lol
ICEMAN1647545504
Follow the wires for the headlight and it will take you to it.
Shawn89
I found 2 relays under the windscreen. They both click when I switch between hi and low beens but niether works. Is it posable for both relays to go out at the same time?
wnaplay1647545503
Is the bulb bad? If they are the same relay, swap them and see if everything that currently works still does.
ICEMAN1647545504
Check the bulbs too.
Shawn89
I checked one bulb and it was fine. Or at least the filamets are ok
35RFTW
Always start at the easiest point which would be the headlights. After that, I would check the fuses, then on to the relay. If all of that checks out, then you would go after the switch and testing continuity between the endpoints of the wires.
