I just called Byers, $65 retail, $52 with the Vortex discount, per side. Its valve cover gaskets for my 1999 Passat 2.8. Victor Rienz aftermarkets are $23.38 a side. I had a hookup at Byers and still usually just ordered from ECS as the price wasn't much higher than my hook-up price with byers and it saved me a drive across town. Its doing the thing where the valve cover gaskets are letting oil into the spark plug tubes. I don't want to spend $100 on gaskets, but at the same time I don't want to buy junk.
