JuicedH22
Recently changed to Alcoa's and added some ricer blackouts, so thought it was time for some new pics... A local car photographer snapped the pics for me... he does great work, and will do a shoot for a hell of a price, if you are interested 1. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4118/4783742377_22afd5e4ca_b.jpg 2. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4094/4788678846_e1719e0269_b.jpg 3. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4140/4788665192_2053cf8ca3_b.jpg 4. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4102/4788043377_4e40465d9d_b.jpg 5. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4098/4788039845_460922d667_b.jpg 6. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4096/4788671552_044ee1244f_b.jpg 7. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4138/4788675820_8502a12cfe_b.jpg 8. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4080/4788037445_60a4436fa1_b.jpg 9. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4099/4788003537_f7f71712aa_b.jpg 10. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4142/4788008437_9f5696c14c_b.jpg 11. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4114/4788015925_2a1e489bd2_b.jpg 12. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4080/4788624020_6821af7449_b.jpg 13. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4120/4788642226_b3b8d7704f_b.jpg 14. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4101/4787997339_0c31b14c46_b.jpg 15. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4134/4788006037_659506787f_b.jpg

Tripleskate
If I were you, I'd find an alternative to the billet grilles up front, other than that, car looks like sex. How do you like the Ecsta XS?

How do you like the Ecsta XS? billet grills?? LOL... those are STOCK c5z 'grills' I like the XS MUCH better than the Toyo shit (T1R) that was on there. However, not sure they are any better than the Azenis, and the 615s are lighter tires.... I really wanted starspecs, but they dont come in 315/30/

JuicedH22
You need a tinted plate cover. yea, i cant find a flat one... and the bubble ones wont let me keep my licence plate surround... and it looks retarded w/o that surround

JuicedH22
noo. but they do have 17s in front, and 18s in the rear... I wanted the widest tire I could get... so I wanted 315/30(5)/18 in the rear... that left me with few options, and those, the matching fronts were 275/45/17.... therefore, the front has signficantly more sidewall than the rear (which is the case on oe size zo6 tires, it just stands out more now)
Igor
psssh, sidewalls just add deflection and loss of corner speed Or how about traction? therefore, the front has signficantly more sidewall than the rear (which is the case on oe size zo6 tires, it just stands out more now) And your doing it wrong. JuicedH22
ummm, no. No I am not.... If you really want to get into a debate on the physical transient response to tires w/ respect to sidewall deflection in high speed cornering, let me know... though I am going to presume you dont know WTF you are talking about however YOU'RE doing it wrong. Oh the car is definitely gorgeous, don't get me wrong. I mistakingly omitted that from my original reply (which is the topic of this thread isn't it?) But the argument at hand is the use of sidewall in a tire, and or High speed cornering, in which the tire compound also comes into play. To be technical, it is sidewall vs track width. And yes, obviously tire compound comes into play, as well as tire ply, and sidewall composition. As well as yaw moment, camber gain, and a about 15 other suspension geometry/kinematics that come into play. But most importantly, is the combo of sizes that can be purchased for a given tire, without spending an arm and a leg.
