Scotty2Hotty
Anyone had any experiences using PMC rounds? Found a decent deal on some 147grain 7.62X51mm rounds to fire up while I'm home. Unfortunately most of the Federal NATO stuff is out of stock along with the Winchester 7.62X51mm aswell. Figured I'd give em a shot to test out one of the new rifles. dragknee66
Ive shot their rifle and handgun ammo, never had a problem that I can recall noper.
Scotty2Hotty
I read they moved some production over to S.Korea to fulfill a NATO ammo contract. That's about all I knew about the company. $10.95/Box of 20 rounds isn't bad at all for something to plink with.
dragknee66
At least its not Wolf ammo
Scotty2Hotty
At least its not Wolf ammo My M1A will never see a Wolf cartridge in its chamber.
dragknee66
Fa real. Ill shoot my shitty little .22 rounds through my AR before Ill chamber some Wolf lols
Scotty2Hotty
If I pick up a VZ-58 or something in the Kalashnikov variety, I'd contemplate running a few hundred Wolf rounds for shits n' giggles.
schmuckingham
Ive shot a bunch of the PMC stuff, its great stuff for the price but I am not that serious about surgical accuracy.
Otis Nice
I like PMC for plinking. After using the 9mm Luger rounds then having to grad some WWB from wally world (out of everything else when I went), I would recommend PMC before WWB. Pedro1647545510
I've used it without any problems as well.
cinergi
It works pretty well, just a bit durty.
Scotty2Hotty
It works pretty well, just a bit durty. I'll order some Lake City M118 when I get home. $509 for 500/rounds isn't a bad deal. It always flew to its intended target in Iraq when I used the M118LR. BTW Greg, I think I'll take that CQT off your hands too.
cinergi
I never had accuracy issues with PMC, just the dirt. Easy enough to clean, though. That is a great price, I should pick some up. Good deal. I will pick up a battery for it so you can use it.

I'm waiting for more of the Lake City NATO rounds to come in aswell, so I can have some 147's to shoot and the 173's for just in case. I was just thinking about the LMT not the M1A. That should work perfect on it. Bunch of SF boys running around here have them mounted on their rifles. I just got a bunch of XM193 and M855 5.56mm aswell. jjjxlr8
Aim Surplus has a great price on Austrian (Hirtenberger) 7.62x51. REALLY good ammo! Also, Classic Arms has British Radway Green for about the same price (.43/round). For surplus military ammo, this stuff is very accurate out of my M1A. Word on the block was the Radway Green ammo is pretty damn good stuff. Haven't seen any on the market, so I'll probably do some searching when I get home. I was always impressed with the M118LR made by Lake City. But, I'll deffinately check out AIM Surplus aswell, thanks for the heads up. stolen 5.0
Wolf shoots better than pmc in my m4. No clue why. Over 10k rounds of it. I shoot pmc .40 though.

Nate1647545505
Scott, We played with some spare PMC in my M1 last weekend. From what we could tell, groups were noticeibly larger, nearing 3" - 3.25" at 300M. No problems but I don't run the vented piston.

I figured the rounds wouldn't be anything to praise about for holding tight groups. I mostly want to break in the new CMI mags I've got, and get a little range time. I need to find a range with a little distance, but I'll be kinda short on time when I get home.
